#ASKPSS: Couples Edition

My husband, affectionately referred to as “HB” since this blog’s incarnation, graciously agreed to a Couples version of my #ASKPSS series. Thank you to all of you who have subscribed to my YouTube channel–wow! You are so amazing and your kind comments warm my heart and soul after a long day in the hospital working. Absolutely adore you all.

As always, I collect your #ASKPSS questions using the same hashtag over Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Stay tuned for an upcoming ASKPSS couples edition part 2, but feel free to ask me any of your burning questions. Advice? Sure! Personal questions? Yep! Silly scenarios? Love those! As always your username is credited (please tell me if you prefer me to blur out your username).

I don’t usually sit and watch these type videos but I have to say how much I enjoyed watching this. You two are so much fun to listen to, and I can really see how much you love eachother. Thank you for putting a smile on my face and all the best!

    • That really means a lot, so thank you so much–not only for watching, but for commenting as well!

That was a extremely sweet video–your husband’s story of how you met was very dear and made me smile. I think it is charming that you guys are doing these videos together and look forward to part 2. Woo!

  • You two are so cute together! You’re going to love Dexter! Let me know what you think when you start watching it. Did you watch Breaking Bad?

I’m with Sarah, hearing HB describe the day y’all met brought me to tears. I’m such a sucker for a love story and yours is so sweet. Have a lovely weekend and thank you for sharing!Xo

Love you two. I’ve been a follower for a few years and still always find myself coming back to your blog. I’m in emergency medicine and my boyfriend is a surgery resident – always great to hear from couples who have the busy lifestyle yet still have a great relationship. Looking forward to the next video!

Very funny video, great to see the two of you interacting. Always nice to hear how other young doctors balance their familylife with work eating up so much time and energy. I am a pediatric resident (in Germany), but I started having my kids in med school, so I already have three daughters…While I do not really care that much for all the beauty posts (did I really admit that???) and do prefer texts to vlogs, I was too curious not to watch 🙂 – and had a great time. Thank you!

#ASKPSS – I’m a medical student starting clerkship next year, which means (as you I’m sure you know 🙂 ) long shifts and overnights on the floor. This will make me sound really vain but I never step outside my house without having my makeup done and even then, my face gets really shiny after 3-4 hrs of my application. Do you have any tips of how to survive clerkship (and beyond) with a low maintenance look that will last? I really don’t think I can go bare-faced! Thank you for any advice you may offer!
