Calypso Relaunches Fragrance Collection

Happy birthday to me! I had the complete privilege to be able to preview the newly-relaunched Calypso St. Barth fragrance collection, which includes their signature scent "mimosa" and two brand new scents, "fig" and "casablanca". Each one floats on a breeze of effortless chic. "mimosa" smells effervescent, like the signature cocktail, it is lighthearted and whimsical. "Fig" is fresh with a subtle spice running underneath it, and "casablanca" smells like the sunset at an Italian villa full of free spirits.

The Calypso St. Barth fragrance packaging is to die for: a small, travel-friendly rectangular glass bottle with a gold-tone cap and atomizer, with gold-foil filigree and tassels that match each scent individually.

As part of the relaunch, I was super excited to pick out three Calypso St. Barth items that embodied my sense of effortless fashion: looks that can be pulled together easily and result in a polished look in a snap. For me, it was all about the dresses. I chose a beautiful lilac eyelet sundress that I paired with the "casablanca" perfume. The color really sets off a summer tan!

The cream-colored dress in the middle is covered with embellishments that shimmer in the light, but still maintain that carefree air of effortless chic--and I paired this with the bubbly "mimosa" scent--such a perfect pairing!

My blue and silver sundress I paired with my favorite, "fig", because I love pairing opposites: a spicy, fresh scent perfectly contrasts the girly, romantic nature of this stunning dress.

Each of these dresses could easily be paired with casual sandals or dressed up with some heels for a summer date night.
