HG Edit: The Perfect T-Shirt

As I've mentioned before, my style has evolved quite drastically from early days of this style & beauty blog.  No longer am I interested in adding layers upon layers, stacking rings and bracelets galore.  I'm more interested in quality, minimalism, and investing in pieces that will stand the test of time.

Because of this evolution and the fact that I realize I haven't shared this process with you yet, I've decided to start a capsule collection of posts that I'm calling the "HG Edit" (HG stands for Holy Grail).

The Classic Pocket Tee

Call it a tee, or a t-shirt, or a shirt, but whatever you call it, don't call it plain. I'm very particular about my pocket tees, and one characteristic they must have is a nice drape. This is achieved typically by materials other than cotton.

Kain Label

My absolute favorite is by a brand called Kain Label, and while this one is on the pricier side, the fact that it is made of 100% silk is in some measure a justification. There is nothing on earth that drapes better than silk, honestly.

Banana Republic

A more affordable option is by Banana Republic--and in fact I wore it in yesterday's outfit post.  I discovered this one quite incidentally, and have had a hard time finding more of them--until now. I just purchased four more tees (in white, grey, black, and blush) online! They're currently on sale so snag these while they're at this discounted price. This version is 100% viscose. I don't know what that is, to be honest, but it has a great drape as well.

!function(d,s,id){var e, p = /^http:/.test(d.location) ? 'http' : 'https';if(!d.getElementById(id)) {e = d.createElement(s);e.id = id;e.src = p + '://' + 'widgets.rewardstyle.com' + '/js/shopthepost.js';d.body.appendChild(e);}if(typeof window.__stp === 'object') if(d.readyState === 'complete') {window.__stp.init();}}(document, 'script', 'shopthepost-script');
