When it comes to packing for New York Fashion Week, I give it a solid week beforehand where I'm visually laying out clothes, shoes, and accessories to make sure each outfit is preplanned and Kristina approved. That way, I know I don't have anything to worry about when changing outfits quickly in the hotel room on my way out for dinner and drinks. 

But, ladies, the makeup bag is an altogether different story, am I right? On the one hand you want your trusty sidekick skincare besties -- no surprises when it comes to travel, your skin needs its routine and it needs it badly. 

On the other hand, this was fashion week. It called for experimentation with high fashion lip colors (like that dark mocha brown lip pencil I just bought today...). 

For my lips, I kept it simple with one bold lip color and one of my staple colors -- a browny rose nude in both matte and glossy formulations. During fashion weeks, I always keep handy a mirror, a compact folding makeup brush, and for skincare I've been loving the RoC® Multi-Correxion 5-in-1 Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 because it's lightweight, has a travel-friendly pump and is hygenic, and just a great all-around multitasking moisturizer. 

For primer I've been liking the RoC® Smooth Perfexion® Instant Line Corrector because it not only has a smoothing, primer-like effect, but it also treats the skin over time -- after 2-3 months, my undereye area is already looking much improved. Although I really put that to the test this New York Fashion Week, because one night I stayed up until well past 2am with blogger babes! ?
