Kardashian Kollection Makeover
A while back I was in New York City for a makeover / fashion shoot for the new Kardashian Kollection line, which is available exclusively at searsStyle, and designed by the Kardashian sisters. It was such a fun experience (my first professional photo shoot ever!) and I thoroughly enjoyed all the girly aspects (having my makeup, nails and hair done) and all the wonderful people on set. I also really enjoyed getting to know my fellow co-models, A Mom in Red High Heels, and Miss Whoever You Are--such fun girly-girls like myself!
We were instructed to look casual and comfy, and shot "Before" photos. Man, oh, man--wait til you see the "After" photos and you'll realize why I felt so frumpy beforehand! (Just as a hint...they dubbed my style "Rocker Chic".) Click on to see the "After" photos!
Makeup: Done. Nails: Done: Next up, it's hair time!
And now...for the BIG REVEAL:
Behind the scenes...
There was much smizing involved.
Seriously, that shit is hard.
(They're wow-ing over the comparison of the before-and-after for me...Meanwhile, am thinking about quitting the blog, as have lost all credibility)
(Kidding! I was thinking about how funny my eyelashes felt on my eyebrows.)
A word about the Kardashian Kollection: nobody was more surprised than I to discover the clothes were unbelievably cute! And wearable! Yes, even the leopard jumpsuit (so cute, I'm telling you)! I've already worn my sequin blazer, leggings, and biker boots combo out several times since, and will seriously wear every single piece again. Touché, Kardashians, touché. And be sure to check out searsStyle for more on the Kardashian Kollection, as well as some of the other pieces I wore in the shoot--UK Style by French Connection & Bongo--for really cute accessories & beauty products at affordable prices for real girls like us.
Major thanks go out to Glam Media (my lovely ad network) and Sears Style for hosting three fabulous ladies and for such a wonderful opportunity! From what I've heard, the photos will be used in major online campaign ads and digital media worldwide. Yay!
