My Pretty Baubles

On my dresser I keep a catchall - a leather pad that has corner that snap together to hold lovely things, like one's watch when one gets home & wants to take it off because it's Michael Kors and weighs three pounds.

After I lit a few candles because anything pretty calms my mind, I thought I should take a picture or two or ten and share it with you. I love pretty things! Above, in focus, is my mom's gold Rolex watch she's still (miraculously) letting me wear. Methinks she forgot I still have it. Shhhh!

And it's the watch you always see me wear! My lovely Michael Kors watch sent over to me ages ago by Shop Bop.

I'm pretty much obsessed with anything rose-scented, so when I saw this in the checkout line at Sephora I immediately snatched it up. It's been in my white coat pocket ever since and I've totally forgotten about it until recently. Glad to have it back in business!

Hand creme I picked up at Anthropologie after I saw it on Taylor's blog! It's rosewater and glycerine, so you know I had to have it! Plus the tube is pretty (and a little goes a long way). Thanks Taylor for turning me onto it - I love it!

My moleskine planner and one of my nicer pens. I write down daily notes here and there, and print out photos on glossy paper of things I've been to, and...

...things I haven't been to (i.e., IFB Evolving Influence conference, and fashion shows). Above: Alexander Wang and Prubal Gurung s/s '11.

And of course there's my lovely bib necklace from New York Design Shop! Almost forgot that.
