My Wedding Look

My rehearsal dinner dress was found rather fortuitously while shopping for my mom's evening dress for the wedding, at Tootsie's (oh how I love this place). It's by Black Halo and it's a white with cream/beige lace windowed back--actually very reminiscent of Bella Swan's wedding dress from Twilight.

Hair-wise, I'm going for a romantic Brigitte Bardot inspired half-up style. I'm not sure if my wimpy little hair can take it, so I might have to get professional extensions (pro-dyed to match my hair, naturally). Supposedly there are pro kinds that you clip in to your hair, which is so much more appealing than having them permanently tied or glued to your hair. I'd love to hear about your experience with extensions.

The earrings are by Kenneth Jay Lane, and they are marvelous. Much to my frustration, I simply cannot find these online anywhere. I purchased these from the Wedding Suite in my local Nordstrom and I cannot figure out why they are nowhere online. These are really gorgeous baubles, huge actually, and surrounded by a little pavé halo which I loved because it's similar in style to my engagement ring.

The cuff is a gorgeous splurge by Cristina Ferrare, it's called the Cosmic Square cuff and it's the sparkliest thing I've ever worn on my wrist. Needless to say, with the bracelet and earrings, I'm keeping the neckline simple with a tiny petite pavé cross that I always wear.

The clutch adds a bit of fun, don't you think? Little pink rosettes to match the flowers of the day (pink peonies and ranunculus) and a little bling never hurts, at least in this girl's mind.
