"No Makeup" Makeup Spring Look

This is a paid-for advertorial in conjunction with H-E-B.

I had such a great time re-creating my "No Makeup" Makeup look for spring--brought to you in conjunction with H-E-B, who have a great beauty section if you haven't checked it out lately--you should! H-E-B is my favorite destination for groceries and I was so pleasantly surprised to see how large a stock of affordable makeup they have nowadays--it definitely rivals any drugstore!

To start, I went with the L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion foundation, which is, in my opinion, the absolute best cushion foundation out there. If you're super oily, I recommend the Maybelline BB Pure for its matte and acne-fighting properties, because this cushion foundation is DEWY. Straight-up. Dew. (But I love that look.)

I concealed with the aptly-named NYX Wonder Pencil - so named because it multitasks as a concealer, highlighter, and inner-rim brightener (although you should always sharpen to sanitize before using on your waterline). It's so great! Another staple was my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer (this one is great for undereyes too)

I switched things up after my blush by using--shock, horror--a pigment eyeshadow as my face highlight, and it worked really well! Everyone knows that highlighters are more like large frosty eyeshadows these days anyway (the absolute OPPOSITE of natural) but using an eyeshadow actually lended a more subtle look, and it didn't break the bank.

I topped things off with one of my favorite lip combinations at the moment. I started with a colored balm and then layered one of my favorite neutral glosses on top.   I hope you enjoyed!

This post was brought to you as part of a paid collaboration between H-E-B.com and Pretty Shiny Sparkly. All opinions are my own. Thank you, H-E-B!
