Panasonic Lumix G5 Pt. 2

Earlier this month I introduced you to my new little friend: the Panasonic Lumix G5. I told you about its mirrorless system, which enables it to be a DSLR without all the bulk that a DSLR requires. Interchangeable lenses, stunning image quality and depth, and all of those user-friendly features normally only found in a pocket cam (like scene recognition)--but in a DSLM (that's Digital Single Lens Mirrorless).

I also hinted about one of the coolest features it has, which are its creative filters. Move over, Instagram. The Panasonic Lumix G5 lets you shoot still photos AND video using any of its genius creative filters. I took photos with each filter to give you an idea of how versatile these filters can be, check them out below:

My favorites are Expressive for its bold high contrast, high saturated color, High Key because it makes anyone's skin look amazing, and Toy Camera because it mimics the super cool Lomography look of toy cameras. What's your favorite? I hope you enjoyed my review on this amazing little camera, it's so potent -- meaning, it has such an unbelievable amount of features in such a small form factor! I take it everywhere now, and I definitely can't say that about my DSLR!

Check out the Panasonic Lumix G5 for yourself, and don't forget to add it to your wishlist!

P.S. - Tomorrow is the Mayan Apocalypse - Hopefully I will see you all back here tomorrow! ;-)

Panasonic provided product and compensation for my time and work spent into reviewing this product. All opinions are my own, and will always reflect my true sentiments.
