It's the little things. [houston] is quite possibly shyer than I, and gets totally embarrassed when shooting my outfits in public places. But he does it anyway, because he knows how much it means to me. I love him so much for that!

I've been meaning to wear this cute little handbag from Forever 21 - for some reason, I keep forgetting about it. I love the little square turnlock clasp, the chain, and the ostrich leather-like tooling. I'm pretty sure it was about $12.

I immediately fell in love with this ensemble the moment it all came together after (as usual) grabbing random items here and there from my teeny weeny closet. My mission? To prove that you can wear the cool tones of heather grey (in the top, heels, and denim) with the warm tones of gold (as in my accessories). The pink (purple?) ostrich-style bag added that much needed pop of color you know I can't live without.

When I'm not writing blog posts at 1:18 in the morning, most of my day is spent pouring over books like this and this and watching an online exam prep course (this). It's an 8am-til-whenever-my-head-hits-the-keyboard kind of thing.
