Nineties Girl
I grew up in the nineties. I wore my first training bra, became obsessed with Clueless (when it came out, P.S.), begged my mom for another pair of Doc Martens after my Weimeraner ate them, wore tattoo choker necklaces and daisy printed skater dresses. I wore socks under my sandals. Yes, I was a nineties girl.
In Blue
The weekend was just the sort of lazy, lounge-around style that I needed. HB, Gidget and I enjoyed a Sunday evening stroll, and I discovered just how truly comfortable my new Sperry boat shoes truly are. I used to own a pair that I got from a discount shoe store and they were super uncomfortable. Now I know why those were discounted!
I love the look of clean denim, but sometimes you're just in the mood for really, really, really ripped-up jeans. Am I right?
In Pink
There are some days when you just want to wear a little (or a lot of) pink. This top is half-lined (the top part, of course) and breezy, and I love the racerback. It's kind of made me realize, though, that it's time to start working on those arms, because damn. They're weak and floppy.
I still love my staple Topshop Jamie jeans, and these rose gold-capped espadrilles are the perfect slip-on shoe for summer.
Back To The Basics Of Love
There's a song that HB loves to sing in the car, called "Luckenbach, Texas", sung by Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, and it's this song my husband was singing to me before we shot the photos of this casual Saturday outfit.
Terms of Endearment
When it comes to the history of this great city I live in, there are a few hidden gems. One of them happens to be the house where they filmed the classic Shirley MacLaine and Jack Nicholson movie, Terms of Endearment. We are frequently in this area of town, so we decided to use the house as our backdrop for today's outfit.

Out of the Woods
I'm so glad to have an outfit post up for you guys. It's been ages! In fact, I've been so out of my element that there are several outfits I've shot but didn't put up because I wasn't happy with the way they looked. This sweatshirt has me snuggly and cozy despite it's statement exterior. I live in either these pants or my Zara variety, but the heels are a new addition that give a little edge (and length) to an otherwise comfy ensemble.
