Bonne Chance – MNG by MANGO

Fashion weeks have us captivated every season, and right now it’s one of my very favorites: Paris! I love scoping out the street-style photos of models walking across the outside area of the Carrousel du Louvre. Sigh. So lovely.

So, to gear up for PFW, I paid tribute to the French in a striped shirt (seen many times here on PSS), black resin cigarette jeans by James Jeans (seen previously & scored on Gilt.com ages ago), ballet flats, with ballet pink nailpolish to match, and a jaunty sailor-esque scarf from MNG by MANGO. Speaking of MNG by MANGO:

You can see my other style missions here. Don’t forget you can enter to win the trip to Barcelona with the rest of the bloggers!

In case you were wondering, I’m taking the less-is-more approach to doing my hair, lately.

As in, nothing-is-more.

You’ve gotta admire that work ethic.

Completely obsessed with my new metallic clutch from ASOS. It was so inexpensive, actually, and I lusted for it after seeing it in Shini’s hands, so I had to buy it. It took a while to get to me, but it was well worth the wait. So fun.

I encourage you to show some Paris Fashion week love on your blog this week! Dress up in stripes and show me your look by tweeting me or leaving me a comment below with your look. I’d love to check it out!

As always, feel free to follow my style missions with MNG by MANGO by using the twitter hashtag #MNGbyMANGOmission, or follow @jcpenney (they’re also on Facebook). Disclosure: This campaign is produced by Style Coalition and sponsored by jcpenney, but it’s all me, folks.

Hmm….I may have to search a bit for a striped shirt, but I have some black pants and ballet flats calling my name. A bun and swipe of red lips and I’ll be all set for Paris.

Loving the Parisian-chic look! I used to live in Paris and basically dressed in a version of that the whole time, my black skinny jeans were a wardrobe staple… Scruffy dressing certainly does not go over well there :)I miss ASOS being super convenient since I moved to the US but I’m looking at it as a positive thing – bank account protection!

ASOS is amazing. I end up shopping there way too often, fuelled mainly by the fact that I got free next day shipping for a year for only £15 so everything ends up in my mitts super quickly and for free.
I’ve always been a big Mango fan and posts like this remind me why. I really like the nautical look that’s not gimmicky. 🙂
