With Love, Philadelphia – By Eat.Sleep.Wear.

Guest Blogger: Kim | Eat.Sleep.Wear.

While I’m in Norway for the holidays I’ve asked a few select bloggers to host Pretty Shiny Sparkly until my return. Please give Kim a warm welcome with your comments! xoxo — Kristina

Hiiieee!! I am Kim from the blog eat.sleep.wear. and I’m coming to you from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. I was so excited when Kristina asked me to do a guest post for her because of course I LOVE her blog, her, and want her to have an amazing time relaxing and not worrying about the interwebz. I wanted to introduce myself with my most FAVORITE piece of the moment, this mustard yellow scarf I snatched up at Zara. It has barely left my neck. I tend to gravitate more to the neutral and and black colors in the winter, but I have vowed to myself this year that I MUST inject some color and life into the drab winter days. I love how easily this is done by throwing on a scarf and putting on some sassy lipstick and how that can instantly change a look. I have been on a super casual kick lately. I do love how the fancier shades and lipstick still keep this from looking too laid back. I would feel comfortable kicking back with some cocktails at one of my favorite watering holes for sure.

A little more about myself, I literally like long walks on the beach (I am totally serious), any flavor cupcake imaginable, bright lipstick, a killer top knot, modern minimal style, a real Dutchie, and a real believer in being positive.

Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I hope that Kristina loves them! Come stop by at my blog to peep my photos, or chat me up on twitter!! Enjoy new friends. xo, Kim

I love that scarf. I'm actually in the process of making a scarf in a very similar scarf. I hope it turns out as well. Mustard is such a good fall/winter color. Great guest post, and I actually just started following eat.sleep.wear yesterday after a mention on Blonde Bedhead. No Guilt Fashion

Mustard is such the perfect color injection on drab winter days. Also, those boots are one of my favorite purchases you have recently made. Perfection perfection my dear. *muwah*

The mustard definitely adds a nice pop of color to the outfit! Great combination Kim! I could definitely see you sitting back in a pub with this one.
And I will go for a long walk on the beach with you anytime. 🙂

I’m writing on behalf of MKDA, a boutique marketing and special events agency here in Philadelphia. This Monday, September 17, we are hosting the 3rd Annual XIX Most Fashionable Women in Philadelphia.
This event is set to spark a highly anticipated fashion explosion in our city, infused with a commitment to philanthropy. Honorees are chosen not only for their impeccable fashion sensibility, but also for their long- standing community service and involvement. This VIP event is a highlight of a September Celebration of Fashion in Philadelphia. The honorees will not be announced until Monday, but they represent success within a variety of industries and business back rounds.

We would really appreciate it if you could feature our event on Pretty Shiny Sparkly! Your blog is highly known in the fashion world here in Philadelphia, and along with the kick off of the Philadelphia Collection, I think this would be great for everyone to see!

Please let me know if you have any more questions. I can send you a press release!
Thanks and I look forward to hearing back from you!
