Coronado of My Heart

BB Dakota romper c/o Karmaloop, Gap jacket, Erica Klein necklace c/o shopbop, MK watch, Fossil sunnies

As you probably saw in this video, days 1-3 of my Los Angeles trip were spent in Coronado, a small island off of San Diego with the number one hotel destination in America – the Hotel del Coronado (aka “the del”).

As some of you readers who have stuck by my blog from the beginning may recall, I am not very fond of my short little legs. I have a long torso but (in my critical eyes) disproportionately short stubby little legs. I hate them. I really prefer to wear pants, I dislike them that much. But sometimes, you have to live a little, and when you’re on the beach of one of the most famous hotels in the world, you just have to chuck your self-loathing out the window, square your shoulders, and bare all.

Here, I’m thinking: “I really don’t like my legs. They’re just weird and stubby and short. But I guess I’m stuck with them.”

These are some amazing shots, doll. Coronado is INCREDIBLE! I've been there too, and it does not disappoint. One of my fave places in CA, for sure.

Ignore your legs and focus on your beautiful hair, skin, petite body, wonderful eyes and smile. And on the beach…wear high beach wedges, it does wonders for you legs and are just as easy to walk in as flats. Thanks as always for your outfit posts. I enjoy them very much. You are an inspiration to us all!

You look great! I think "leg issues" are common. I hate my knees – they have weird side lumps! No one else seems to see it but me (at least that's what they say…) so I think a lot of it is in our heads.

Also, super jealous of your watch. Is that Michael Kors? I desperately want the rose gold one. Oh Santa…

You are too, too cute! I also hate my short, stubby legs, just know that you are lovely as you are – I've also decided with everything that you accomplish, you are not real, but most likely a droid. xoxox

You look like you were having a blast. I feel the exact same way about my legs, but I also have a strange love for dresses and shorts that usually wins out in the summer. You just have to rock it with confidence, and you're definitely doing that here!
