Hi Kristina! I’m so happy I found your blog. I’ve just been accepted to medical school and will start in a few weeks. I love blogging and am so happy to know there are physicians out there that do this too!

I looked about 10 min to find the follow button (just a tip, make it mare noticeable and you will have more followers! (I have way less followers so this is totally no critique but just because your blog is amazing I think it would be a shame people missing out on it because of not finding the follow button ;))

I’ve only recently discovered your blog and I love it! Who doesn’t love a little sparkle?

P.S. If you love British tea, you should try the brand Yorkshire Tea (and I’m not just saying that because I’m from Yorkshire!)

I just came across your blog! You are so very inspiring! My utmost goal is to become a physician, and I also love fashion/beauty!

Hi Kristina, I found your blog from another fashion blogger franish. I am MD/PhD student and blogger (sort of it is my way of procrastinating) and so excited to find med-blogger people. Love your youtube videos too. I tried a youtube a couple of years ago and sort of gave up on it because I always needed to film during night then lighting and such required more money and I am too poor right now lol. Anyways I am so excited to watch your videos and follow your blog.

I came across your blog from Elle Fowler when she was talking about your review on a day planner. I am so glad I did. You are absolutely fabulous!! And as a fellow resident physician (but in pediatrics in Texas) I further respect how you are able to do this and still take call/manage a crazy MD schedule. More power to you. I have definitely shared your blog with my coresidents so know that you have several new resident followers from Texas!

Aren’t you the sweetest!! Thank you! Where in Texas? I’m based in Houston.

Ah yay, I’m so glad that I found your blog! I’m hopefully going to medical school in september if i make my offer, and I was wondering whether I would still be able to run my fashion blog or not. But this has made me feel much better about it! Have you found that it’s impacted your job at all? x

I am an aspiring medical student in my “gap year” and stumbled upon your blog about “how to start a fashion blog.” It’s fate I tell ya. I wanted to search for a creative outlet to express myself, something different from science. I would always reward myself a shopping trip after a killer science exam. This is just the inspiration I needed.

Whoa! Just stumbled upon your blog from a pin. I read your brother’s story-what a loving sister you are. Much success to you-you are authentic and really give a fresh perspective on the perception that most blond/blue eyed girls are shallow-not you my dear! Keep smiling. Love your videos.

For some reason I am not able to read your story, it goes to a page that states a fatal error, whatever that means. But I’m just here to look around.

    Hello Kristina,
I LOVE what you are doing! I am a PGY2 resident doctor. Make up / fashion has always been my passion besides medicine and it makes me SO HAPPY to see that you can do BOTH. I’ve discussed with my husband and close friends about opening a make up / fashion inspired youtue channel but I am often scared that my work commitments will hold me from putting in 100% into that. But I don’t know how you do it (maybe I need to ditch IM and join anesthesiology), seriously. You are truly an inspiration…
