Glitter & Shine

Even though I am totally one of those people that complains bitterly about Christmas decorations being up before Thanksgiving is around the corner, this year I seem to find myself thinking about the holidays before fall has even winked its eye (at least to us Texans). I was quick enough to snag the gorgeous red matte lipstick MAC released for its limited edition holiday collection, and boy is “Such Flare!” gorgeous–especially in an unexpected matte finish.

I’m loving my (two!) pairs of MIA wedges (I have them in both black glitter and a pretty taupe). Wedges are an equalizer for any outfit – they can simultaneously dress down a stuffy outfit, or elevate one that’s too casual. Of course, the ZARA sequin clutch is on many a woman’s mind–my store only had the black left (boring!) but I snagged the gold one when it became available again online. The Efva Attling cuff reminds me every day to Seize the Day – something I think we all-too-often forget in the hustle and bustle of things. It’s my daily reminder to be the best person I can be, and to never let an opportunity (to do good, to make a change, to be brave) pass me by.

I’ve been loving the look of OPI’s San-tan-tonio on my nails, and I’ve been surprised to see how well it pairs with silver jewelry! Lastly, those silver bow-tipped heelsΒ are just adorable–I don’t own them but I think any girl who wears them will feel at once classy and a bit Cinderella-y. And what could be more perfect for holiday parties?

Indeed I have! I own that color too! Great color but a bit darker and more grey. I like both but San Tan Tonio is a nice almost nude-ish color, which I find work appropriate and trendy all at the same time!

Love those TopShop shoes!!! Isn’t TopShop just the best?

  18. 11.05.2011 / 1:39 pm

Oooh, I just wore silver heels like that earlier this week, but without the bow, maybe a bit more pointy. I think it’s the bow that makes them Cinderella-like. Without them, I just felt kind of sexy. The shine of them makes them very “Look at me! Look! at me!” I do adore those wedges, and they’re price-friendly!

I want those wedges! I am a huge fan of any shoe that gives me some height! I fall in to that petite category at 5′ exactly! I just recently started following your blog and I love it!

Oh, Kristina! All of these items are amazing! However, my favorites that I absolutley now must covet are the Zara sequin wallet, the Topshop Glacier shoes and of course the Mac-Matte “Such Flare” red lipstick- all of these perfect items for the holidays! Luv it! Thank you for sharing this with us! πŸ™‚
