Oxford shirt- NY&Co, Tunic- Target, Jeans- American Eagle, Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell, Bag- Louis Vuitton, Watch- Michael Kors, Bangles- vintage

When I first bought this silvery tunic about a year ago from Target, I had no idea how I was going to style it. It’s an odd racerback style, and it billows out so it basically has no shape or form to it, but the fabric is so gosh-darn cool. Rumpled silvery sheen–hello, fabulous! So I usually wear it like this, with an oxford shirt underneath, knotted in the back to nip it in the waist a little.

Throw on my jeans, step into my clogs, and I’m out the door to run errands and go wherever the rest of the day takes me!

Good pickup! I was probably feeling a little down because HB left town, but most of the time I just feel a little silly taking pictures of myself, alone, in my house–it's so much more fun and social when you have someone to do it with you!

*counting down the days when HB returns*

*and not just because I need his camera skills*

    Hi Kristina,

Doesn't Target have awesome clothes right now? Can't wait for their Mulberry collection. Like the outfit. Pictures great especially the one of you sitting down laughing! Don't like the clogs, too junky and out of proportion to your petite frame. I think a little less chunky or more angled heel on the clog would be better. I know I am a clog expert as I wore them when they were in style the first time around! HA!

I'm so in love with your Michael Kors watch. Have you had it for a long time? If so, how has it held up to wear and tear, scratches etc?

    • 09.05.2010 / 12:23 am

It has held up AMAZINGLY well. And as readers can attest, I wear it ALL. THE. TIME. Probably too much. I can't help it- I love it!

I just LOVE this outfit… the clogs make the whole thing! Very nice… how are you liking your clogs? Are they difficult to walk in or manageable? I have a pair of UGG clogs and still getting used to the fact that they don't bend with my foot. But I LOVE the look of them and have considered buying an even taller pair!

I love my clogs! Yes, they take a bit of getting used to them, but they're fabulous and go with a lot (especially this light color)!

Seriously in luv with this look! It encompasses all of my favorites right now-clogs, metallics, a button down, boyfriend watch. . . and the super cute bag tops it off perfectly 🙂

Beautiful outfit and great idea… I might have to copy for similar billowy items that I have. Although I did do a front knot with a shirt like that recently.

Great way to wear the tunic-y top. Is it long enough to belt and wear as a dress? Not likely, I'm assuming, but just a thought.

I found you today via -what i wore- and your guest post!! Love that look, the necklace is fab and what a great blazer 🙂
