Henrietta Pertuz top for petites

Henrietta Pertuz “Laura” blouse* c/o Henrietta Pertuz, American Eagle shorts, Cynthia Vincent for Target flats, David Yurman bracelets, random bangle, Forever 21 armor ring, vintage diamond ring

Things I’m loving: armor rings, metallic nail polish (it comes back to the trend scene every 5 years), my new lilac polish, coral lip stick (I just got some new ones at the drugstore and I can’t wait to find an excuse to put it on), and breezy tops you can throw over a pair of old white shorts for instant style (even when you’re not feeling your best).

Things I’m not loving: 95 degree heat with 83% humidity, and my diminutive height (I’m 5′ 1 1/2″ and I fiercely cling to that extra half inch) . I think my hair can speak for itself (it tends to have a mind of its own whenever there’s moisture in the air).

I’m a huge fan of the Henrietta Pertuz line because it’s basically everything one loves about high fashion, but geared towards petite women. To be petite you don’t have to be small – you just have to be short! (5’4″ and under) Arm holes are higher up, sleeves are shorter, shirts are a little bit shorter in length (so us short girls aren’t drowning in them). Trousers have higher knee position, too, which is personally my favorite feature.

I love my new armor rings! I’m wearing my favorite here. They’re sold out yet again on Forever 21’s website. I just picked up as many as I wanted at my local store a little while back.
