I have had the incredible pleasure of trying some more of the NARS Audacious lipsticks (in Barbara, Vera, and Vivien) and am oohing and aahing over the packaging for the Holiday 2014 “Hardwired” color collection. There’s a gorgeous fall-appropriate blush called Almería (a tan rose color appropriate for most skin tones). There’s also an amazing glittering dark green eyeshadow flecked with gold and light green glitter called Gabon.

NARS Audacious Lipstick in Barbara (a tan nude, above). You’ll have to excuse the chapped lips and imperfect lipstick application. This formula is so pigmented it’s hard to get it right without a lip brush (and I adamantly refused to use a lip brush)
NARS Audacious Lipstick in Vera (above). Vera is a nice bright raspberry color but I detect some muted tones that make it more wearable than Vivien (below).

Plus, for the ultra-crazed, there’s even a complete NARS Audacious lipstick and nail polish collection called the “vault” that costs a pretty penny. Ultimately, I am craze-ball obsessed with the Audacious collection. I’d love to own every color, but if I couldn’t (and I can’t), I would go with the nudes and mauves – it’s far easier to justify the purchase when you choose a color that’s wearable and that isn’t super dark, which means less fuss.
I do have my eye on a bright orange-toned red, though! 😉
