No-Makeup Look Makeup Tutorial

I have decided once more to venture out into the world of makeup tutorials! Please excuse the bare face, I’m envisioning a banshee scream every time each of you watches this video–try not to be too terrified, ‘kay? For a list of the products used and links to purchase them, please see the description bar here.

Also, my husband just told me that once we reach 10,000 subscribers on YouTube, he will make his debut in a video, attempting to do a full face of makeup on me, in the ever-hilarious “Boyfriend/Husband Does My Makeup” tag video! So spread the word! I know you’ll definitely want to see this cowboy-boot-wearin’, beard-sporting, manly-man put makeup on his wife’s face.

This is an excellent tutorial. I find a lot of YouTube tutorials are done too quickly and the technique (such as dabbing on lip color or how you apply the cheek tint) is never thoroughly explained. Also you used products that most people would already own which is refreshing – no need to go out and buy a wild color or limited edition palette! Thanks!!!

Hi! Thank you for such wonderful and thorough beauty product reviews! I have discovered so many great products from your blog. Have you ever thought of showing us how you organize all of your products? How are your products organized in your bathroom? I understand that you probably have an unbelievable amount of product, but it would be so fun to see how you organize your bathroom with your daily routine items.

I think you look stunning, but your eyes are so clear and blue it kind of reminds me of those creepy anime doll eyes! Not in a mean way lol. You look very natural.

ooo I have that eyeliner and I never thought to put it on my upper eye like you did. I don’t always like to wear mascara and I think that it made your eyes pop so much just with the liner! I will be trying this for sure! Just a quick question though, why did you use that tinted moisturizer instead of a BB cream?

that’s hilarious and super brave of you. I’m pretty sure I’d look like a $8 hooker if my husband tried to do mine. I might have better luck letting my second grade daughter do it!

Great tutorial, I love the natural final look. I’m hoping you decide to make a skin care routine video. I too am super pale, and have oily/acne prone skin. I’d love to know any tips as I’m constantly changing up my skin routine and trying to find something that works to keep it clear.

Does the Loreal lip product have a smell/taste to it? I find a lot of Loreal products do, and I was curious about the one you used.

I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but you need to hear it again…you look so pretty without any makeup! It takes a lot of guts to make a video showing your bare face. And I think you were being a little harsh on yourself in the description because…look at you! You’re gorgeous!
Also, I do think you should make more tutorials. I like seeing all the different products you use. Can’t wait to see the next video! 🙂

You did a great job! I really enjoyed this video. I had no idea Maybelline’s tiny mascara was still on the market! it’s long gone here, I remember I used to use it in high school :p

Thanks for doing this video. It’s a great look for summer. BTW…I’d be very interested in a in depth video of Michael Todd products.

WOW that was a nice tutorial. You look great, natural, and pretty. When I do the “no makeup look” I feel so naked still. LOL. You did a great job.
