Splurge or Steal: Tom Ford vs. Jane Cosmetics

I’ve found a great dupe for the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor, a longtime favorite of mine that weighs in at a whopping $44. I’m ashamed to say I’ve repurchased this pencil twice. What a waste of money, now that Jane Cosmetics has come out with a wedge-shaped brow sculptor in a similar range of shades, and all for just $8. Eight. Dollars.

It has to be noted that the blonde version of the Jane pencil is a tad warmer than I would like it to be, but that isn’t much of a surprise given my penchant for gray eyebrow colors. But it’s a great bargain for a product super similar to the Tom Ford one which might as well be gold-plated (just kidding).

Can you get the Jane cosmetics brow sculpter from drugstores?

I’ve found Jane Cosmetics hard to find–but I reached out to them and they said they’re easy to find at Kohl’s of all places!

So hard to figure out to splurge or to save! I have been on a quest to find a happy medium! Right now the brow definer I use is from Benefit. I think its like 25-30 cant remember but I really like it. Its a wax powder duo! Xo

Interesting! Where to buy b&m? Or online only?

I never used to buy anything from the drug store until I started seeing vloggers on YouTube praise products. Now, I’ve found some things (black gel liner, for one) that I prefer to buy at the drug store! Thank god someone finally showed me the way! Have you heard anything about a liner called Jessie’s Girl? It’s been compared to the Kat Von D Tattoo liner.
