Banana Republic × Issa

banana-republic-issa-middleton-dress7smWow, it feels good to finally do an outfit post again! Hubbie and I made ourselves promise to do one on my one day off this week--and he had the whole location picked out. He had scouted out this place a while back, and told me he planned on taking me there the next time we shot my outfit. And although it's been years (okay, a month) since my last outfit post, it feels good to get back in the style game with such a lush backdrop.

This dress is nothing short of amazing. I'm sure you recognize it from the Duchess of Cambridge's engagement photo--but even if you didn't, how could you resist the cinched-in wrap waist and three-quarter length sleeves? It makes any body look good. What's not to love? You can thank Banana Republic for partnering up with the famous-because-of-Kate brand, Issa, to the masses. I'm liking the whole collection, but I think this dress is the best place to start. It's selling out like hotcakes online, so check to see if it's in your size and snatch it up fast. Otherwise, call your local BR store to see if they have yours in stock.I'm partial to the Royal Blue color, myself, naturally.

Did I mention my nickname when I was little was Queenie? It may have been due to the fact that my sister Michelle called me Kreenie but couldn't pronounce the "R". But it also could have a reflection of my diva-like personality.

Either way.
