CoverFX Natural Finish Foundation

After hearing Jaclyn Hill rave about the Cover FX Natural Finish Oi Free Foundation, I knew I had to pick up a tube to test it out myself. Jaclyn and I have very different skin types (she's dry, I'm normal to combination, acne prone) but such a high-coverage, natural finish foundation was bound to suit us both. Right?

In reality, it does and it doesn't. The coverage is excellent even on my normal/combo skin, and things don't start getting uncomfortably dewy until about 8-10 hours of solid wear time.

The formula is thick and creamy, almost gel-like, and it's so thick that I found myself thinning it out with a moisturizer or Becca shimmering skin perfector in Opal to thin it out for better blendability. Perhaps its strongest plus is that it comes in among the widest selection of color shades I've ever seen in a foundation release. It's quite amazing! Just check it out here.

If you're lacking a medium to high coverage foundation in your arsenal, this is unlikely to disappoint. However, those with already a good selection of high coverage foundations likely won't find anything particularly revolutionary about this product. It is worth trying out after you've used up your other foundations, though!
