Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

One of the most hyped foundations of 2015 since its launch has been the Too Faced Born This Way foundation. Beauty vloggers and bloggers have been raving about this foundation from day one.

I found myself skeptical because past face bases by the same company have been, in this blogger's opinion, pretty dismal. I figured this would be no different.

I was wrong.

This foundation provides medium to full, easily buildable and blendable coverage in a decent range of colors (though not as good as, say, Make Up For Ever or Cover FX), with a natural, skin-like finish. In fact, when properly applied (in my opinion is goes on best with a beautyblender or kabuki style blending brush) it is hard to detect on the skin at all.

Now, this formula did accentuate my dry patches from areas where I was spot concealing acne and dealing with the consequential flake drama--but I think that's pretty hard to avoid for any foundation.

The packaging is flawless, elegant, and not as kitschy and cutesy as Too Faced tends to be (sometimes nauseatingly so). You get a normal amount of foundation for the price.

Bottom line: Buy this foundation. It's worth the $39 price tag--in fact, I'd buy a second bottle when this one runs out.
