Denial Ain't Just A River in Egypt

As a Texan girl who loves to layer, I staunchly refuse to bow to the demands of the weather. The iPhone said it was 54 degrees when I woke up so: yes to layers. And I stubbornly wore the entire ensemble throughout a day of errands and grocery shopping with [houston] despite the fact that the temperature crawled slowly up into the high 70's.

I'm a huge 7 For All Mankind fan, and my new black wash trouser jeans (Dojo, for those familiar with the brand's styles) are so, so awesome. Black so they can be dressed up, and big and fabulous and shoe-covering. You can't even see my shoes here but they've made many appearances on the blog so I figured you wouldn't miss them (seen here, for one).
