Foot-Friendly & Oh So Cute

At a diminutive 5'2" tall, you will rarely see this girl in shoes less than 2" in height. In fact, I prefer towering platform stilts to flats most days. This, quite obviously, is not practical in the real "every day" world. So about a week ago after picking up some nourishing goodies for my hair (it's angry at me for coloring it) at Sally Beauty Supply, I passed the display window of Payless and decided to hop inside and see if I could find myself some cute comfy flats for my work outfits.I came out with four pairs--all $19.99 or less (most were $12.99, and the white ones were even less!). I needed brown and basic black to tie into my work wardrobe, and I thought white ones would be fun for anytime--I confess I just found an excuse to buy them because they were so unbelievably comfortable. I even wore them during my trip to Ft. Worth!

While I am not superwoman and just did a one-stop-shop thing at Payless (click here for their flats selection), there are tons of great inexpensive shoe outlets out there (Famous Footwear, DSW Warehouse, Rack Room Shoes...to name a few in my area).

What's your go-to inexpensive shoe source (online doesn't count)? Are you a heels person or a flats person?
