One Year

Medhus_Braly_Wedding-365sm It's been a year since we exchanged vows, and I absolutely cannot believe that our first year of marriage has come and gone. I know it sounds so cliché, but it literally has flown by! So many wonderful things have happened since then: an unforgettable honeymoon in Paris & Provence, buying our first home, settling into said home, starting my first year of residency as Dr. Braly (it's "braw-lee"), being witness to some amazing weddings of family & loved onces (I'm looking at you, Tracy! And Frank!), and of course meeting wonderful, amazing people like you, from my blog.

Of course, life isn't perfect, and we had some low points, including my grandmother's passing, Houston's grandmother's passing, my dog (aka second love of my life) Winnie going missing & never coming back, the anniversary of my brother's death, and other pretty tragic family events that I'd prefer not to mention here.

But for every bad time, 2 blessings have come in its place, and my husband and I have weathered it all, together. There isn't person in this whole wide world that I'm closer to. He is my best friend, my rock, and my soulmate, and today marks just one of may, many cherished years together. Forever and ever.Medhus_Braly_Wedding-344smMedhus_Braly_Wedding-211smMedhus_Braly_Wedding-205smMedhus_Braly_Wedding-032smMedhus_Braly_Wedding-007smMedhus_Braly_Wedding-311sm

Today, tell the special someone in your life just how much they are appreciated. Just tell them, "I appreciate you, and all that you do."
